The Sacred Holme is a Uber instance located in Majestic's Rein in Outhrend. It is the current home of Astrous and Voidlak. It resides just south of the Pinnacle of Achievement. It is a dormant temple, full of beings that do not fall in any scientific categories. In addition, it is also a base of operations for the Godborne, the God Council, and the Starcallers as a whole. However, due to the visions of Astrous and Voidlak, who predict the world will go to ruin, have placed the Holme on lockdown to complete their grand scheme of completing the process of Altered Freedom despite the Godborne's edicts and decisions.

History[edit | edit source]

The Sacred Holme was created by the Creator and Destructor as a keep for their greatest "inventions", Astrous and Voidlak. They would exist as to keep the peace kept in Outhrend and its outside regions. It acts as the base for the God Council, or at the very least one of them. It plays a similar role to the God Complexes like the Audita Complex and Datta Complex. It is referred to as the "Sacred Complex" and the "Holme".

Due to the God Council's edict given to them by their predecessors, they are charged with maintaining the timeways and the spacial distortions occurring in Outhria, especially in the sight of the Primearch Rupturing or of any messes with the Paradox Equation whatsoever.

Astrous and Voidlak, using the Eye of Origin, witness several futures, where the majority aren't pleasant, and a great "evil" comes, and that nothing, even the combined might of the God Council and them could stop. They place the complex on lockdown and prevent several of the Godborne from entering, and because of their superiority, the beings within are sworn to servitude, in the process of "Altered Freedom" being complete.

After the players quest in Majestic's Rein, and later on in Patch X-2: Time and Space, Tyurak Riften and Garnor Azetras, two of the Godborne discover the Holme in its locked state. With the adventurers by their side, they breach the Holme hoping to avert the crisis the two have gotten themselves into.

Attunement[edit | edit source]

The questline for this instance must be completed. In addition, it is best to secure the runes located in Majestic's Rein as they can solve the powerful energy eroding from the top of the Holme's spire.

Layout[edit | edit source]

The Holme has 5 floors, which constantly glow with the astral and void surrounding it.

The Bridge of Eternity[edit | edit source]

The Bridge of Eternity is the middle of this expanse. There are two circular observatories, one for the meteorologist, and one for the Oneiromancer.

The Passage to Greatness[edit | edit source]

Here dwells an ascending staircase with multiple floors. The first big one being glowing yellow is home to the cosmic observer. The second one about 5 flights up is the home of the chaotic observer.

The Spired Cathedral[edit | edit source]

A giant inside structure full of constellations. Perhaps the two masters here can explain the stuff to you... personally.

The Rushing Straits[edit | edit source]

Here the making of the universe is explained.

  • The Stars
  • The Nebulas
  • The Moon
  • The Sun

The Celestial Observatarium[edit | edit source]

One final staircase and you approach the world itself, being observed.
